Popping vs. Krump
Here's a real evolution of dance. This video charts the move from 80's robotic popping to the ultra-aggressive street dance called krumping. You can see the battling nature of both forms as the dancers try to outperform each other in front of crowds. Popping has its roots in 70's funk and was popularized by Michael Jackson in the 80's before becoming a key part of hip-hop culture. Krump is rooted in tribal war dances, and has become a worldwide movement and integral part of the urban dance scene. Both styles are wildly entertaining.
